Introduction
A Meta MOOC can probably be at least two things.
- A MOOC about how to arrange MOOCs,
- a mechanism to point out other already existing MOOCs, or part of them. This is how its used in this context.
Meta MOOC for leveling students from other universities before they attend our masters programme
- Background
- Students who have a different background, in comparison to our local student, sometimes do not have all prerequisite we would like when attending our masters programme. There is only little room for leveling courses, so a Meta-MOOC, perhaps in combination with with a self-assessment to figure-out weaknesses and strengths.
