Description This project envisions that the diversity This project envisions that the diversity of applications and contrasting performance constraints in next-generation embedded systems will necessitate the use of emerging technologies such as reconfigurable architectures and many-core processors. The project aims to develop, experiment and evaluate advanced embedded computing platforms for diverse application needs such as real-time response, low energy consumption and low cost constraints. Our focus is to address these needs through simplified programming and flexible architectures. This approach will provide the industry with tools and methodologies for meeting user-defined performance constraints with a quick time-to-market.e constraints with a quick time-to-market.
